It was more like a soccer match as fans created a chaos. The Argentine’s were behind their player while the host crowd started supporting Rafael to show their anger towards them.Referee had to interfere as the match got disrupted for 15 minutes. But nothing could stop Del Potro as he showed how to maintain one’s calmness and composure to fight back. The world no 6 was down in the first set as Nadal showed glimpses of his old touch. The break in between gave some space for Del Potro to find his way back.
Potro’s serves and returns were fascinating as he steamrolled past Nadal in the next two sets before reaching the climax. The Argentine crowd started cheering and singing their anthem even before the final game.To everyone’s surprise Nadal came back into the match by the winning two games to take it to the tie-breaker.In the mean time the Brazilians started booing the Argentine crowd by mocking them with their Anthem.
