Rafael Nadal Beats Kevin Anderson for Third Us Open Title

Current World No 1 Rafael Nadal claim second major title of the year and 16 career major title.

Rafael Nadal beats first time major finalist Kevin Andreson in dominating match in three set to complete is triumph of US Open title.

Rafael is now just three major title away from Roger Federer record win of 19 major titles. Nadal still have enough time to reach Roger records in fact he is the only one closest to that record as Djokovic is with 12 title behind him.

“I always accepted all the challenges that my career present to me. The good news and the negative news, I accepted in the same way, in a very natural way. I am a person that I don’t have much ups and downs,” Nadal said. “When I am in a negative moment, I don’t go very down. When I am in a positive moment, probably like now, I don’t believe that I am that good.”

And Nadal paid a tribute to his uncle after helping him since he was just a little boy to reach the very top.

‘It’s not just one lesson, these are things from since I was three years old,’ he said. ‘I can’t thank him enough for the things that he did for me.

‘Probably without him I would never be playing tennis and it’s great I just had somebody like him pushing me all the time.
