Indian duo Sania Mirza & Rohan Bopanna reached to quarterfinals after winning match against Australian pair of Samantha Stosur and John Peers.
Sania Bopanna struggled in the start of the match but they comeback with good duo chemistry after few games of the first set & finished the match with 7-5 6-4 in 73 minutes.
John peers struggled with his own services in second set did more forced errors. Whereas Bopanna & Sania Mirza played very good tennis in second set.

Sania Mirza – Rohan Bopanna currently 4th seeded in the Rio Olympics. Also Sania was reached to Quarterfinals in London Olympics with Leander Paes.

“I don’t feel any extra pressure. I just feel responsible every time I step on the court, whether at the Olympics or Grand Slam. It’s very tough. If you have to win the tournament, you have to win everybody. You have to hope for the best,”

Sania said after she and Bopanna won their pre quarter-final match against Australians Sam Stosur and John Peers.

About the tough draw ahead, Sania said:

“It was a tough match. I’ve been saying this for one year, every match will be tough in the mixed. Playing Grand Slam champions in every round. It’s great to get that win in straight sets. Anything is possible in a super tie-break.

Andy Murray  had tough match against Italian Fabio Fognini,  where Andy recovers in from 0-3 in  3rd set in mens singles

Sania is no 1 in WTA doubles ranking having good experience in mixed doubles. Bonnapa is in good form and specialist in doubles.

Sania-Bonnapa is 4th seeded where as the Murry- Watson are unseeded in Mixed doubles.
