China are once again champions of the World Mixed Team Championships. They reclaim their 11th Sudirman Cup 2019 title – from their 13th straight final with a 3-0 victory over Japan.

Shi Yuqi astonished world champion Kento Momota . Japan have never won the badminton world mixed-team championship. China’s dominant victory over the top seeds . Japan had the edge in the head-to-head record in the first three matchups, and China in the remaining two.
The world number one Kento Momota had defeated second-ranked Shi four times in five previous meetings, including last year’s world championship final.
China, the long-time most excellent power in badminton, reclaim the Sudirman Cup trophy that they lost to South Korea two years ago.
