It’s been only three matches in Indian Badminton League and the excitement graph is just increasing. IBL started getting more attention in cricket country. Match between Saina and PV Sindhu changed the gear of IBL to next level. Both the games on 15th August end with a tie. We will discuss about both the games.
The much awaited game between Hyderabad Hotshots and Awadhe Warriors was the first game of the day. The match between Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu was a treat for Saina fans. At once, PV Sindhu dominated the first set with a score of 7-3, but then it Saina Nehwal with whom she was playing. It was just a mere fraction of time, when the scores turned to 21-19 and Saina won the first set. Overall, Hyderabad Hotshots won and that too with a bonus point.
The next game of the day was between Mumbai Masters and Banga Beats and as expected, it was Mumbai Masters who won the game with a bonus point. Mumbai’s strength was Single matches and they proved it in their very first game of the tournament. It was Vladimir Ivanov who was announced as the Vodafone Player of the tie for this match. Banga Beats look strong when it comes to doubles. To come back strongly, they will have to work on singles.

Krrish Delhi Smashers v/s Hyderabad Hotshots (1600hrs)
It’s been a very bad start for Krrish Delhi Smashers after a defeat in the very first game against Pune Pistons. On the other hand, Hyderabad Hotshots look strong after an easy win against Awadhe Warriors. It is a very important game for Krrish Delhi Smashers because if they lose this game, they will be in a very difficult situation and a win for Hyderabad Hotshots will strengthen their position on the points table. There are many players in both the squads to watch out for. Let us begin with Hyderabad Hotshots. Saina Nehwal, the key player for them. If she loses, by any chance, Hyderabad Hotshots will be in a difficult situation. Ajay Jayaram is another player to watch out for. His current form in the domestic arena was quite convincing. His presence in the squad on Saturday will insure a win for them in Singles. Talking about Pune Pistons, they have a little more edge in double. Juliane Schenk of Germany will be the player to watch out for from Pune Pistons.
