After IPL its IBL and here’s the next match for IBL which is “Hyderabad Hotshots” Vs “Awadhe Warriors”. First of all I would like to comment that this is indeed a good initiative by the organizers to take the badminton to a next level.
First match “Hyderabad Hotshots Vs Awadhe Warriors”
Hyderabad Hotshots will be playing Awadhe Warriors in the 2nd match of the Indian Badminton League. Any team that has Taufik Hidayat, Ajay Jayaram and Saina Nehwal would be rutted as favorites irrespective of the opponents. Saina will have a tough bump into against PV Sindhu though, bronze medalist at the world championships, in the most predictable match of the day. For Awadhe warriors the mixed doubles pair of Mathias Boe and Markis Kido,Mathias Boe is ranked number 6 and the effortlessness with which he combines with his new partner will make a decision how well the pair does in this tournament. In women’s singles, they have PV Sindhu who is in transcendent form of late. Skilled and knowledgeable mixed doubles pairing of Maneesha and Nandagopal will have it trouble-free against Hyderabad’s Indian combination.
The trouble for Hyderabad Hotshots is the doubles pairing of V Shem Goh and Khim Wah Lim, playing against the dreadful combination of Mathias Boe and Markis Kido. But the arrangement which chains three singles matches will play into the hands of Hyderabad. Hence this should not be much of restlessness. The Indian mixed doubles pair is a spot of bother though, as Hyderabad are projected to drop points. For Awadhe Warrios, men’s singles’ is where Awadhe Warriors’ chink in the armor lies. World No.12 Wei Feng Chong and Indian starlet Gurusaidutt will have to be at their finest to make a match against Hyderabad’s Taufik Hidayat and Ajay Jayaram.
Second match is “Banga Beats” against “Mumbai Masters”
World’s number 6 Hu Yun and number 13 Parupalli Kashyap, Banga Beats have a powerful cluster of players when it comes to men’s singles. Thailand’s Tai Tzu Ying, raw yet highly endowed, starts as favorite against Mumbai’s Tine Baun tomorrow. Mumbai masters are dealt with a rigorous blow even previous to the start of the tournament with the men’s world number 1 Lee Chong Wei racing against time to pass the fitness test. If Lee takes care of Hu Yun, Marc Zwiebler and Vladimir Ivanov are quite capable of winning against India’s Parupalli Kashyap in tomorrow’s game.
