With less than a month to go for the World t20 held at India, all the cricket fans around the world are keeping a close watch on the players and the teams to look out for. He had a very successful series against South Africa, which just adds to his confidence. Also since the tournament is in India, we can definitely expect the man to spin some magic. Malinga has been named captain of the Sri Lankan team for the tournament. He is a specialist bowler in the shorter version of the game and has a vast experience behind him bowling in Indian wickets. With his swinging Yorkers that trouble the batsmen in the death overs, he is an asset to any team. 3. Shahid Afridi
Boom Boom Afridi will be another man who will be leading his country at this version of the World Cup. Placed third in the ICC Bowlers Rankings, he will be rearing to go at the opponent batsmen. Having an experience of 90 T20I’s with an economy of 6.60 and a strike rate of 21.7 Afridi is a handy customer for his team. 4. Shakib Al Hasan
Shakib is one man every team wishes to have. With his ability to bat and bowl and with the experience that he possesses, he is a handy man to his skipper. He is currently placed 10th in the ICC rankings and has been one of the reasons for Bangladesh’s success in recent times. He has an economy rate of 6.71 and strike rate of 18.7. With the wide arm delivery that he possesses he can be the man who controls the run flow and also gets wickets for his team. Having good experience playing in the IPL, he will be the man to do the job for the Bangladeshis.
5. Imran Tahir
The South African spinner will be leading the spin attack for his team. With a good experience playing in India during the recent tour and also in IPL, Tahir can be expected to
perform well for his team. He is currently at the 7th position in the rankings and he would justify that through his performance. He has an average of 15.77 and an impressive economy rate of 6.45. With good variations in his bag, Tahir will be a man his captain will go to for wickets.
