Shaun Marsh & Peter Handscomb manage to keep India away from the victory

Australia’s  decision of selection of 6th batmen in place of the injured Mitchell Marsh to give them the batting depth. This decision turn right on the last day of the match, when thirty minutes before the lunch Handscomb join Marsh , it was the time when Australia were still 89 runs short of making India bat again; Team Australia were looking for strong partnership. Shaun Marsh and Peter Handscomb ensured that the 3rd Test between India and Australia ended in a draw with A superb 124-run fifth-wicket partnership between them.

In Four hours inning my Peter Handscomb faced 200 balls and scored 72 runs.

Steve Smith was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja.

With this draw, the series is still tied at 1-1, with one Test to go at Dharamsala from March 25.

After the great inning from Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja came up with good line and trajectory  that increased the hope of India to win the match. But he didn’t got support from other end Ashiwn struggled to do the same. Result of that Jadeja took 4 wickets Ashwin manage only 1 .

A great display of a test cricket match, Pujara, Saha, Handscome & Marsh showed wonderful temperament to stand on pitch. The match is drawn. But who won the battle?

Before this match the Australia had gone 38 Test innings without a fifth-wicket stand worth 100 or more. In Ranchi, they managed to do it twice. Marsh and Handscomb’s stand was worth 124, facing up 62 priceless overs on the last day of the test match.
