Sourav Ganguly has finally spoken about the accusation hurled at him by Ravi Shastri. Ganguly speaking to a news channel yesterday night told that “I Came here to this meeting, I got a message from Shirkey [Ajay] that the other two members are requesting if they could continue, which I was fine with. I said fine, I have been stuck with this, so you please go ahead and do it. That happens everywhere in the world and that’s the exact story.” He added: “If he thinks I am responsible for him not getting the job, he’s living in a fool’s world.”
Ganguly was responding to Ravi’s comments few days earlier accusing Ganguly of being biased against him during the selection of Team India coach Ravi Shastri has earlier said that Ganguly was disrespectful to the selection citeria and also said to reporters to ask Ganguly what Personal Problem he had with him.
Ganguly further responding said that
“He has made it personal, I am extremely saddened to hear that from Ravi yesterday.. I was reading it in a couple of newspapers in the last three or four days and chose to ignore it.”
Ganguly also denied him having any hand in not giving the job to shastri saying
If he thinks I am responsible for him not getting the job, he’s living in a fool’s world.
