So the Euro 2016 has come to an end after 3 weeks of Spectacular action. Portugal have emerged victories in this tournament and this Portugal team have become immortal as being the first Portuguese team to win a major title. The Tournament has seen many great and spectacular goal including the goal in the Final by Eder. So let’s have a look at the top 5 goals of this Euro 2016


5.) Hal Robson-Kanu – Wales v Belgium.  

In the quarter finals with the score tied 1-1 Robson-Kanu produced a superb piece of individual skill to put Wales into the lead.Having received the ball in the box he produced a glorious Cruyff turn in the box which fooled three defenders, before spotting calmly past Thibaut Courtois.


4.) Gareth Bale – Wales v England.

Gareth Bale produced the best free-kick of the tournament in the group stage against England. He hammered a shot into the bottom corner well past joe hart. Despite the fact that they went on to lose this match, the goal was one of the special strike from a special player.


3.) Cristiano Ronaldo – Portugal Vs Wales.

As the saying goes When the going get’s tough, the tough gets going. When Portugal was struggling against a spirited Wales squad, it was their captain,leader who provided them the lead by jumping above all and scoring a bullet header to give Portugal the lead in the semis, and eventually get them to the Finals.


2.) Éderzito António Macedo Lopes(Eder) – Portugal Vs France

The stunning strike which gave Portugal the title is in the second spot because of the moment of the goal and what it achieved. With Ronaldo out injured and score tied at 0-0, Eder produced a magnificent strike from 25 yards out to give Portugal the lead and eventually the Euro 2016.He received the ball with his back to goal on the left, with Koscielny tight against him. He held him off, galumphed infield and then, from 25 yards, smashed a fierce low shot that beat the diving Lloris to his right.


1.)Xherdan Shaqiri – Switzerland v Poland 

Undoubtedly the goal of the tournament, the stoke winger pulled of a stunner in the 81st minute of the game against Poland when his team was trailing 1-0. Though they went on to lose in the Penalty shootout, but the goal will remain etched in Shaqiri and swiss fans forever.He judged a partially cleared ball on the edge of the box to perfection and stuck an overhead kick to score the goal of the tournament.
