Man of the Match – Lendl Simmons
Let’s here what the captains had to say about the match
MS Dhoni
And it seems Kohli has been given the all-important task of bowling the last over! Remarkable.8 to win off the last over. This is surely West Indies’ game now.
We knew it was going to be a massive step, our fifth step in this tournament against a very good Indian team. They came at us in the Powerplay, we stuck to it. I knew it was a 200 wicket. Halfway in the game, I told my team they are 10 runs short. I was praying to win the toss, and surprisingly I have won 5 out of 5. We knew it was a chasing ground. Now we have 2 West Indian teams in the semi-final. It’s great for the people in the Caribbean islands. We said before the tournament started, Chris is our best T20 player but we have 15 match-winners. Today Charles, Simmons and Russell took responsibility against a very good Indian team.
That’s it it’s all over for India they are out of the world cup now, West Indies qualify for the semifinal in a remarkable way. A great chase India was always 5 to 10 runs short and also had no luck going for them those 2 crucial no -balls were the turning point

Wicket – This was written in the heavens, Kohli gets a wicket of first ball that he bowled, He can’t do anything wrong at the present .
After 11 overs West Indies are 97/2. India needs to get a wicket desperately
It's the @westindies game to lose from here … #INDvsWI #ICCWT20

Everyone sees the highlights packages of 4s&6s. Only 26 dot balls in India innings, will be the difference between teams. #IndvsWI #T20WC

Wicket- Samules Gone India in cruise control. Nehraji strikes again.
Wicket – Gayle Gone Bowled!! Bumrah has knocked him over. This is the wicket India needed
Anybody still questioning Dhoni's wisdom bowling Bumrah instead of Ashwin versus Gayle? DilSay #Bing #INDvsWI

Well one innings is over but the match is still not over India needs to be careful they don’t have a bad start, WI has a got a beast in their batting lineup , Yeah i am talking about Chris Gayle, And also we shouldn’t forget that WI bat very deep Let’s see how the chase goes

@imVkohli is on fire again! So good that I am finally going to be playing with him @RCBTweets. Can't wait to have a chance to bat with him.

Ashwin to Gayle…the contest to watch out for. He's the man between #Ind and a spot in the final. #IndvsWI #Bing #DimagSay

So after the end of 20 overs India finished their innings for 192/2. Virat Kohli 89(47) Played a brilliant innings to finish the innings. West indies would be ruing the missed chances to dismiss Kohli in the early stages of the innings.
Here’s what Rahane had to say after the innings
I knew I was batting well in the nets and it was just a mental adjustment. I have been playing here from my U-14 days. We were targeting 165-170, so we got 15-20 runs extra. It was not a typical Wankhede wicket, the ball was stopping and we were looking for singles and the odd boundary. Our spinners will come in handy and we have to field well. Two or three wickets in the first six overs will be good for us.

11 overs in, and already 2 free hits and 2 run-out chances missed. WI seem to be feeling the pressure of the stage and the crowd. #IndvsWI

After the end of 10 overs India are 86/1 the loss of 1 wickets, Rahane is looking quite steady in the middle & Kohli who has just joined him is yet to find his feet. India should be looking to get to about 200 from here.

Wicket- Rohit’s gone! It was a straight ball, and Rohit tried to play it across the line. He missed the ball and was hit on the pads straight in front of the stumps.
