After losing first set of the match third seeded duo Sania Mirza and Barbora Strycova was playing under the pressure of last match lost against Martina Hingis/Chan Yung in Indiana Wells. Sania and Strycova duo did great come back in second set of the match and momentum continues till third set of the match to enter the final of Miami open 2017.
The game lasted an hour and half and it was smooth sailing for the pair after an early loss of concentration in the first set. Sania Mirza and Barbora Strycova beat Martina Hingis/ Chan Yung-Jan 7-6 (8), 6-1, (10-4).
This is the second final that Sania and Strycova have reached as a pair in 2017 after finishing runners-up in Sydney. Sania, however, will be eying her second title of the year after winning in Brisbane with American Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
Sania and Strycova now face unseeded pair of Gabriela Dabrowski and Xu Yifan, who earlier beat fourth seeds Peng Shuai and Andrea Hlaváčková in the final.
